A symbol of Love… the peacock fills our imagination with their beauty and splendor. These light weight yet large, eye-catching earrings are constructed using a very traditional stamping technique found in tribal silver jewelry of Rajasthan. Antique brass molds are collected in rural villages and old styles are brought new life with these reimagined traditional earrings. These earrings complete the quintessential look for Nakarali and deserve to find a home in every jewelry connoisseur’s collection.
Protection and praise! This intricately detailed cuff features a soothing repetition of pyramid patterns in tiny rawa granulation work. This cuff also features larger granulation and wire work floral patterns through out and is finished with a strong border of larger detail to frame this work of art. This comfortable cuff easily slides on the wrist and makes a bold statement to set off your jewelry collection.
Radiance and warmth… This beautiful tribal pendant sits proudly on the heart creating elegance and protection. The detailed rawa granulation patterns radiating out from the center are reminiscent of rural Rajasthani embroidery work, traditional tattoos and festive rangoli designs painted on the floors of village homes. Granulation work was commonly used in ancient jewelry from India to Greece and Egypt, and still used extensively today in Indian jewelry.
This design comes with a thick silver snake chain with hook.
Vintage Beauty. Reminiscent of some of the large tribal silver bracelets worn by traditional pastoral nomad communities of Rajasthan, these bracelets make a powerful statement. Large hollow balls look like pomegranate seeds set with crowning granulation detail. It is common in traditional silver jewelry of India to bring design elements in from everyday foods, such as seeds, mangos and in this case the almost holy pomegranate!
